Not many people showed up last week, so we cancelled league. We will do the “Williams St Last Man Standing” event this Tuesday 7/29. Starts at 7:30pm. See previous post for games list. We will also use High Speed if it is still at MSA.

7/22 event
Sorry, I slacked off and hadn’t gotten to this yet. For lack of a better idea, I think we will just do another “last man standing” style tournament, this time on the “Williams Street” machines. This includes Demo-Man, Medieval, Creature, Funhouse, Twilight Zone, Theatre, Terminator 2, Adams Family, Revenge from Mars and Star Wars. Event starts at 7:30 P.M., if we run late (9:30 P.M.), then we will continue it on another day.

7/29 event
Unless someone has a better idea, I think we will do another “last man standing” for next week, but this time with the Sterns / Data East / Sega games: Family Guy, Avatar, Tron, Transformers, Monopoly, Rolling Stones, South Park, Guns N Roses.

7/1 (team event pt. 2)
Tomorrow we will continue the 2-man team event we started started on 6/10. Start at 7:30 p.m. 2-man teams still in the event are: Dan S. & Tommy, Jason & Ron, Kevin & Craig, Keith & Terry. Feel free to stop by even if you are not still in the team event.

7/8 event – “Last man standing”
The following week we will do a last man standing tournament. Basically, someone will play a single player game on one machine to establish the low score for that machine. The next person will play the same machine. All the next person needs to do is beat that score. If they don’t, then their score establishes the new low score on that machine. Those that beat the machine’s established low score then move on to the next machine until we have a last man standing on the last machine. If there are 10 people competing in the event, then we play 9 machines. Not sure which specific machines we will use since I don’t know the number of people competing, but it will be any of the “classics” machines (any of the 1 or 2 token machines).
