For those of you who aren’t familiar with AFM below are a few tutorials to help you out.

Congrats to August Monthly Champ Ron!

We had a solid turnout for the monthly 3-strikes tournament this past Tuesday as 12 individuals competed to be crowned champion. Mike Burgess traveled all the way from the Ft. Wayne area to join us again and Chris Hill participated in his first tournament ever, thank you to both for taking the time to do that.

Unfortunately for all of us though this was Ron’s night as he swept his way all the way to the finals with 0 losses on the night. He advanced by knocking out Keith in the semifinals and would meet Craig for the championship after he had knocked me out. Craig at this point already had two losses on the night so would need to beat Ron in three consecutive games. He was able to get a win on Batman ’66, but then the comeback would be halted by Ron’s hot hands as he would then defeat Craig for the win on Game of Thrones.

MSA Monthly August 2017

Mayhem II is 1 Month Away!

So Main Street Mayhem II: More Mayhem is only a month away! I have put together proposed game banks based on the current lineup of games at MSA. I have attempted to balance out eras, styles, and game times between the banks. Some games are used multiple times, but at a different rotation position within the multiple banks so we should never have groups getting backed up at machines for the most part. There can always be changes based on games added to the location, or others that breakdown in the coming month but I wanted to share the information as soon as possible with those of you participating in Mayhem. Any questions or concerns over the banks please let me know.

Shirts and stickers will be ordered after I return from Pinburgh so if you need to change a shirt size or anything let me know before then. Huge thank you to everyone who is taking time to come and play in the tournament! Games will be fully announced as well as game banks a few weeks out from the tournament date. The arcade will be open for business as usual on Friday night from 7-11 PM so plenty of time for practice then, and there will be a one hour practice in the morning before tourney time starts. Also reminder that we are in the Eastern time zone for those of you traveling in from around the country. Parking lot is available directly across the street from the arcade for $1 a day.  We have players from Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, Alabama, and Kentucky that I’m aware of right now. Should be a very fun weekend!

Any questions or concerns before hand please reach out and let me know. Thanks again to Main Street Amusements for hosting the event!
