There are only 12 days of Selfie Tournament action left at North End Pub! Get down there and play Baywatch and Indianapolis 500! Take a picture of your score and submit it or show it to me in person so I can get it entered for you. The finals will take place on December 23rd.

Remember Wednesday night is FREE PLAY so a great time to put up some scores.

Sunday at noon we have the Indiana Matchplay State Championships, we still have 10 spots left for players to participate. The winner will be our first title holder, which should arrive Wednesday. The tournament should be over by 6PM at which point we will have a WWE TLC 2-hour Matchplay event. When that is over stick around and watch some sweet WWE action on the TV.

Coming Soon…it’s the return of TEAM LEAGUE!!!!! Get a few of your favorite friends and form a team to battle it out in a variety of head to head competition. Thursday nights in January! More details to come soon.

Down to the final 2 days of qualifying and Casey has moved into the top 8 putting up nearly a billion on Congo! Finals will be on Sunday evening, exact time will be nailed down ASAP. Play Congo and Fish Tales and get me those scores!

Indiana Matchplay State Championship will be held in Lafayette, IN on December 16th, 2018 at North End Pub. There are 40 spots available and ticket sales open up December 1st, the reservation is free but there will be a $20 entry fee at the door. Doors will open at 11 AM, and play will start at 12 PM.

In the first round, all players will be grouped by seed (IFPA Ranking) into 10 groups of 4 players. Each group of 4 players will compete on 4 different machines, with the highest seeded player given the choice of choosing the game to be played or determining the order of play. At the end of the 4-game round, 2 players will advance out of each group into the second round, which will function similarly to the first.

At the start of the third round, the remaining 10 players will be placed in a ladder-style bracket seeded based on their accumulative points from the first two rounds, tiebreakers will be broken by matchplay’s automatic system and then IFPA rank if needed. The bottom 4 players will compete in a single game, with the lowest scoring player being removed from the contest and replaced by the next highest seed. When only 2 players remain, they will compete in a best two-games-out-of-three series to determine the Indiana State Pinball Champion.

There will be a $20 cash entry fee for the tournament. Tickets can be reserved starting December 1st, 2018. 50% of the entry fee is going into the cash prize pool for top 4 finishers, 45% of the entry fee will be used for awards (a custom State Matchplay Championship Belt has been designed and ordered), and 5% will cover the IFPA fee.

Tomorrow night at Main Street Amusements in Lafayette we will host our weekly 4-strikes tournament. Cost is $1 to play.  We are now changing it so that 3 player groups will only receive 1 strike. The tournament will start at 7:30 PM, hope that a lot of you can make it up to play!

The finals this Sunday will likely start a bit later than usual, right now shooting for 6or 7 PM, but I will keep everyone updated as the weekend approaches. Here are the current standings. Remember the prize pool is now over $200, get those games of Congo and Fish Tales in while you can!  Top 4 finishers from finals will get in on the cash prizes! 

A big thank you to everyone who came out and played in the Survivor Series Matchplay Pinball Challenge yesterday, especially those of you who traveled from out of town, we greatly appreciate you taking the time and effort to do that. Congrats to Tom Vandenberg on winning the event.

A reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, November 19th, 2018 is our Monthly Tournament at Main Street Amusements. We will have 1 hour of qualifying on classics machines, followed by finals where everyone plays a three-game bank. The entry fee is $5 with 100% of the money going back to the players, everyone has a chance to win money in each group. The tournament will start at 7:30 PM.
