Games for League Week 7 & 8 at Main Street Amusements!
Based on the survey results here are the games for this evening and next Tuesday as well! We will follow that up with our monthly tournament and then our end of season finals as well the week after! The last Tuesday of the month we start our weekly tournament series to finish out the year.
Week 7 Captain Fantastic, Evel Kenevil, Tron, Magnatron, and Firepower!
Week 8 Bobby Orr’s Power Play, Tri-Zone, The Walking Dead, Stellar Wars, and Spanish Eyes!

Lafayette Pinball This Week!
Monday: Make-up Monday at North End Pub, if you missed last Thursday come to get your scores in tonight! I know we have at least 6 people playing this evening, bring a few more friends to come and try it out as well! 8 PM approximate start time.
Tuesday: Lafayette Pinball League at Main Street Amusements, 7:30 PM start time!
Wednesday: FREE PLAY Wednesday at North End Pub, all games are on free play for the night. Come down and use those quarters you are saving to buy a pitcher and some pizza from the bar!
Thursday: League Night at North End Pub! Approximate start time 8PM.
Sunday: September Selfie League finals for the top 8 qualifiers. Tommy, Kim, John, Tom, Matt, Michael (can’t attend), Casey, Kyle, & Danielle (filling in as the 9th seed for a missing Michael). We will plan to play around 4PM and do a 4 player group 4 strike format. Hope to see you all then! (TIME SUBJECT TO CHANGE, WILL KEEP ALL PLAYERS NOTIFIED!)
Old Chicago has been added to the lineup at North End Pub! Prospector is taking some time off to recover from its busy month of selfie tournament play. Flash Gordon was also added but still needs lots of work so don’t get your hopes up too quickly, it should be playing great soon.
Also, today is the start of October’s Selfie Tournament. The games are Metallica and Old Chicago. Play either game and take a picture of the score and submit it here! Follow the standings here all month to see how you are doing, make it to the top 8 to play in the finals! Here are some tutorials to help you score big on either game.

Reminder LEAGUE NIGHT! 8 PM North End Pub!
Just reminding everyone that we have league tonight! Come and order a pizza and drink a few beers while we play some pinball… there may even be a surprise game just for fun to try out tonight (no promises)! A start time of approximately 8 PM, as usual, bring some friends to try league out!
Also, here are the updated standings for our Selfie Tournament! Danielle posted a big score on Prospector last night moving her into the top 8. The top 8 will get a chance to play in the finals on Sunday, October 7th at North End Pub. Three more days to submit some scores!
North End Pub Selfie Tournament October 2018, Starts Next Monday!
You have until Sunday night to get some scores in on Iron Maiden and Prospector for the Selfie Tournament! Remember by even playing one game on either and submitting a score you will earn yourself WPPR (World Pinball Player Ranking click here to search for your name and rank) Points and the chance to play for state, national, and world titles.
With that being said I figured I would give you a preview of the games for October!
Thanks to Michael Alexander we will be able to bring an oldie but goodie to North End Pub and it will match the decor perfectly, it’s OLD CHICAGO! Michael brought this game back from the dead and now it will be at North End Pub bringing to you the enjoyment of the Roaring 1920’s in the form of gangster John Dillinger, his beautiful ladies, prohibition, booze, money, cars, and more! The game can be hard, but is always a good time! Wait until you hear the 100,000 point buzzer go off for the first time! Shoot the spinner and targets to spell out OLD CHICAGO for a huge bonus!

What should we pair up with a legendary gangster? How about some legendary rockers! Metallica will be the second game featured for our Selfie Tournament in October! I added everyone in who already played in this month’s tournament so entering your scores should be a piece of cake.
This tournament will start next Monday and run all the way through the 31st (Halloween Night)! And remember to keep getting those scores in for Iron Maiden and Prospector through Sunday night!
Week 6 Results, Week 7 & 8 Game Selection
Here are the full results and standings after week 6 of Lafayette Pinball League Season!
At this point, we have played every game at MSA at least once this season, please complete this survey by next Monday for the games you most want to play in week 7 & 8. The 10 games that get the most votes will be chosen.
Also, 100% of the respondents from yesterday’s question about switching to weekly tournaments to end the year or doing another league season chose instead to do weekly tournaments. Starting October 30th we will now be doing a weekly tournament on Tuesday evenings instead of traditional league play. I have submitted it to the IFPA at this time. Most likely we will be doing group knockout format (strikes), and not using certain games that are known for their long ball times.
There are also several tournaments schedule at North End Pub on Sunday, October 28th so be sure to mark your calendars for that date.
League Night at Main Street Amusements! 7:30 PM!
Reminder it is week 6 of Lafayette Pinball League tonight down at Main Street Amusements. Start time 7:30PM! Slight changeup to the games tonight as Theatre of Magic is out and Ghostbusters Premium is in! See you all tonight!
This Week in Lafayette Pinball
Monday: Make-Up Monday at North End Pub approximately 8PM, if you missed league night last Thursday here is your chance to come down and get your games played. Anyone is welcome to join the league still and could play tonight.
Tuesday: Lafayette Pinball League plays at Main Street Amusements at 7:30 PM.
Wednesday: FREE PINBALL NIGHT @ NORTH END PUB! Every single game will be on Free Play. Don’t forget that Iron Maiden and Prospector are this month’s selfie league games so take pictures of your scores and submit them to the website!
Thursday: North End Pub Pinball League Night at North End Pub starts at approximately 8PM. Anyone is welcome to come and play, no cost to join, spend about $2 in quarters to play in the league each week. Lots of fun; food and drinks available at the bar.
ALL WEEK: This is the last chance to get scores in for the selfie league for September. Score submissions must be in by Sunday at midnight. The games are Iron Maiden and Prospector. We have had some great scores submitted and there is a tight race to make it to the top. All you have to do is play those games, take a picture of your score, and submit it to the website. Or if you play on Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday night and I’m there just show me your score and I can submit it for you!
