Tonight is the Championship of Team League! Playing for The Cup is Pindemonium Zwei vs The Region Rats! The winning team will have them names permanently etched into the record books as well as onto The Cup!

RIP Tommy B vs the Super Jackpots will settle the placement for 3rd.

While the Doom Room and Pull & Pray will determine who sits at the bottom of the barrel for the next year. Team League will start around 8:15 as usual. Food and drinks are available all night at the bar, and fun is to be had by all!

We also have a new machine to play! Say goodbye to TNA, and hello to Split Second! Split Second is a rare Stern Electronics widebody game designed by the legendary Harry Williams who designed games starting in 1932 all the way up to this one, his last production design in 1982. He worked on over 100 games during that time span. The game features an upper and lower playfield, 4 flippers, 11 drop targets, a timed U-turn shot, a ramp, springboard upper playfield exit, and a 3-ball multiball…the best part is it is only $.25 per game and will be one of our Selfie Tournament games for March which kicks off a day early, so put up those scores tonight! Hopefully, we should be adding another new game this weekend as well, World Cup Soccer! If we are able to get it set up this weekend we will make that our other Selfie Game for March.

Also here are the updated standings for the February Selfie Tournament featuring The Shadow and Monster Bash. The top 8 players after tonight get invited to play in the 4 strikes finals tournament on Monday, March 4th at approximately 6 PM. Tonight is your last chance to get scores in for the tourney so enter one!

Just a reminder to everyone out there that Thursday night at North End Pub we will have our last night of the regular season for Team League! Every team will play two matches that evening and by the end of the night, I will be able to tell you who is playing for The Cup the following week. As always plan to start around 8:15 or so and we should still be wrapped up by about 10 even with the two matches. Looking forward to seeing everyone there, until then stay warm and stay safe!

A big reminder that there is NO TEAM LEAGUE THIS THURSDAY, Feb. 14th! Spend Valentine’s Day with someone special, or your local pinball location, both are equally important 😉 !

Sunday, Feb. 17th there is a 4-Strikes tournament at Main Street Amusements at 7:30 PM! $1 entry fee to play in the tournament.

The following Thursday, Feb. 21st, all teams will play doubleheaders for Team League, and the then Feb. 28th we will have finals night where the teams will battle for The Cup!

Sunday, Feb. 24th we will have our Monthly 4-Strikes Tournament at 4PM at North End Pub, and the Indiana Matchplay Championship will be on the line! The winner of the tournament takes home the belt! $1 entry fee to play in the tournament.

Then we will kick off a new individual season Thursday, March 7th at 8 PM. Our new season we are teaming up with locations around the state to form the Hoosier Open Pinball Super-League (HOPS). That means when playing at North End Pub not only are you earning points against your friends there, but you are competing with players from Fort Wayne, The Region, and Evansville as well. The season lasts 8 weeks and at the end, the top players from each location get invited to play in a tournament of champions. I will update everyone with more information in the coming weeks!

First Place is Pindemonium Zwei with three wins and 21 total points. Second place are the Region Rats with 2 wins and 16 points, and trailing just behind them is RIP Tommy B also with 2 wins, but only 15 team points. Currently in fourth are the reigning champions Super Jackpots with 1 win and 13 points, closely followed by The Doom Room who hold a head to head victory over the Super Jackpots but only have 11 points to currently go with their 1 win. Coming up in the rear are the Pull & Pray team currently with no wins and 5 points on the season. We have two games left for each team.

Due to Valentines Day next Thursday we are going to cancel team league and instead hold a doubleheader night the following week on February 21st so please make sure that all teams can show up that night and we will wrap up the regular season. Finals night will take place on February 28th where the top 2 teams will face off to win the Team League Cup! The next two teams battle for 3rd, and the bottom two teams fight to not claim the shame of the season.

Lastly, there is a big tournament at Tappers in Indianapolis this Sunday. The Indiana Matchplay State Championship title belt is being defended by current Champion Scott Elliott. Everyone is obviously encouraged to come and take a shot at winning the title! Tournament starts at 5PM, be there or be square!

It’s that time of the week again, get down to North End Pub tonight for some free pinball! We will be dropping off a new game that will only be visiting for a few weeks called Wild Fyre, way cheaper, more fun, and more real than the FYRE Festival ever was!

Also, remember FREE PLAY WEDNESDAY is a great time to get your scores entered on The Shadow and Monster Bash for this month’s Selfie Tournament. Take a picture of your score and submit it online or feel free to text it to me or post it to our Facebook Page to get it entered for your chance to play in the finals!
